That is why we designed this app with a strict privacy-first, offline-only architecture. 2. Fitness Data and Local Storage (Strictly On-Device)
While the app processes health and fitness data, all of this information is stored strictly locally on your physical deviceusing a high-performance local database (Isar) and your device’s internal preferences (shared_preferences).
We, the developers, do not collect, monitor, or synchronize this data to any external servers or cloud databases. Because the data never leaves your device, it is absolutely impossible for it to be shared with, sold to, or accessed by third parties.
Fitness & Biometric Data (Workouts)
- What it is: Numerical values, text strings, and duration timers representing your exercise sessions.

3. Financial and Payment Data
If you choose to purchase premium upgrades within the app, all financial processing is handled securely and anonymously by the native platform ecosystems (Apple App Store or Google Play Store).
In-App Purchases
- Usage: We do not collect, process, or store credit card data, names, or personal billing addresses. The app simply receives a secure, anonymous validation signal from Apple or Google to unlock your premium features locally on your device.
4. Analytics, Telemetry, and Ads (None)
We guarantee that Simple Workout Tracker is entirely free of external tracking:
- No Analytics or Crash Tracking: We do not use any third-party tracking SDKs (such as Google Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, or Mixpanel). The app does not track your behavior or „phone home“ to our servers.
- No Advertising Networks: The app is completely ad-free. We do not integrate with ad networks (like AdMob or Meta) and do not access your device’s advertising identifiers.
- No Push Notifications: The app does not connect to external servers to send you remote push notifications.
5. Your Rights as a Data Subject
Under the GDPR, you have absolute rights regarding your personal data. Because your fitness data and custom blueprints are stored exclusively on your own device, you have immediate and total control over exercising these rights:
- Right to Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR): You can instantly and permanently delete all your workout histories, blueprints, and preferences simply by uninstalling the app or clearing the app’s local data in your device’s system settings. We hold no remote backups to delete on our end.
- Right of Access & Rectification (Art. 15 & 16 GDPR): You have full, direct access to view, edit, or delete any specific workout log or template through the app’s interface at any time.
