We are delighted that you are using our Ai Astrology App („App“). Protecting your personal data is a top priority for us. Below, we inform you in detail about which data we collect, how it is structured, and the purposes for which it is processed when you use our App.
1. Data Controller
The entity responsible for data processing in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

2. Collection and Processing of Personal Data (User Profiles)
To provide you with our astrological services and AI-supported readings, we collect data that you actively provide during registration and use. In accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (Performance of a Contract), we process the following data models:
- First Name: Used for personal greeting in the user interface (UI) and as context for the generated AI prompts.
- Date & Time of Birth: Strictly necessary for calculating fundamental astrological constellations, ascendants, and astrological houses.
- Place of Birth (Geodata): City/Location name including geographic coordinates and timezone (calculated via Google Places/Geocoding API). Required for determining exact planetary positions.
- Astrology Preferences: Used to adapt the app logic and the AI generations to your preferred astrological system.
3. Automatically Collected & Technical Data
When you use the App, technical data is automatically processed to ensure the stability, security, and functionality of the App (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – Legitimate Interest):
- Crash and Performance Data (Firebase Crashlytics): Error logs, device model, operating system version, and app state at the time of a crash. Used exclusively to identify software bugs and improve app stability.
- FCM Token (Firebase Cloud Messaging): A unique, device-specific character string generated and stored to send you push notifications (e.g., daily reading reminders), provided you have granted permission in your operating system settings (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- User ID (UID) / Account Data (Firebase Auth): A unique alphanumeric identifier linked to your app installation or login, ensuring the secure linkage of your profile and chat history to your specific device or account.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
To keep certain features of the App free and to offer rewarded content (such as watching a video to unlock a reading), we use Google AdMob to display advertisements.
- Data Processed: AdMob processes your IP address, device metadata (OS version, device model), and your device’s unique Advertising ID (e.g., Apple IDFA or Android AAID).
- Usage: This data is used by Google and its advertising partners to serve banner and rewarded interstitial ads, measure ad performance, and prevent fraud.
- Consent (CMP): We utilize a Consent Management Platform (CMP) when you first launch the app. The processing of your data for personalized advertising is based strictly on your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). If you do not consent, you will still see ads, but they will not be tailored to your interests.
- Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
- Opt-Out: You can revoke your consent at any time within the app’s settings or by utilizing your device’s native operating system settings to limit ad tracking (e.g., „Opt out of Ads Personalization“ on Android, or disabling „Allow Apps to Request to Track“ on iOS).
5. Billing & Financial Data (RevenueCat)
We do not process direct payment information (such as credit card details). Payments are handled entirely by the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
- Subscription Status (RevenueCat): An anonymous App User ID and digital purchase receipts. Used to verify your Premium status and unlock the corresponding features within the App.
6. Data Sharing with Third Parties (Data Processors)
To operate the App, we use external service providers with whom we have concluded Data Processing Agreements (DPA) in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR:
a) Google Cloud & Firebase (Hosting & Database) Your profile and astrology data, chat histories, and generated readings are securely stored in Firestore databases (Google Cloud). The backend logic (Cloud Functions) is also hosted here.
b) External AI Processing (OpenAI / Google Vertex AI – Gemini) Important note regarding AI usage: Our App utilizes advanced Artificial Intelligence (Large Language Models) to generate readings and power the chat feature. When you use the App, your birth data and any text/audio inputs you enter into the chat interface are securely transmitted to external AI providers. The providers use this data strictly to process your specific request under our API agreements and do not use it to train their public models.
c) In-App Purchases (RevenueCat) Anonymized IDs and purchase receipts are transmitted to RevenueCat to manage subscriptions.
d) Advertising (Google AdMob) As detailed in Section 4, advertising IDs and device metadata are shared with Google AdMob to deliver in-app advertisements.
7. Your Rights as a Data Subject
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights at any time:
- Right of Access (Art. 15 GDPR): You can request confirmation as to whether and what personal data we process about you.
- Right to Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR): You can request the correction of inaccurate data.
- Right to Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR): You can request the deletion of your data (e.g., by utilizing the account deletion feature directly within the App).
- Right to Withdraw Consent (Art. 7(3) GDPR): If processing is based on your consent (e.g., ad tracking or push notifications), you can withdraw this consent at any time.

8. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy to ensure it always complies with current legal requirements or to reflect changes in our services. Insofar as changes affect the data use based on the user’s consent, we will – if necessary – obtain a new consent.
