We are delighted that you are using our Ai Astrology App („App“). Protecting your personal data is a top priority for us. Below, we inform you in detail about which data we collect, how it is structured, and the purposes for which it is processed when you use our App.

2. Collection and Processing of Personal Data (User Profiles)
To provide you with our astrological services and AI-supported readings, we collect data that you actively provide during registration and use. In accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (Performance of a Contract), we process the following data models:
First Name What it is: Text identifier (String). Example: „Anna“ Usage: For personal greeting in the user interface (UI) and as context for the generated AI prompts.
Date of Birth What it is: Calendar date (Day, Month, Year). Example: „15.05.1990“ Usage: Strictly necessary for calculating fundamental astrological constellations (e.g., sun signs).
Time of Birth What it is: Exact time (Hour, Minute). Example: „14:30“ Usage: Required for the exact calculation of the ascendant and astrological houses.
Place of Birth (Geodata) What it is: City/Location name including geographic coordinates and timezone (calculated via Google Places/Geocoding API). Example: „Berlin, Latitude: 52.5200, Longitude: 13.4050, Timezone: UTC+1“ Usage: Strictly necessary for determining the exact planetary positions at the time of your birth.
Astrology Preferences What it is: Selection parameters within the app. Example: System: „Vedic“, Main Astrologer: „Nova“ Usage: Used to adapt the app logic and the AI generations to your preferred astrological system.
3. Automatically Collected & Technical Data
When you use the App, technical data is automatically processed to ensure the stability, security, and functionality of the App (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – Legitimate Interest):
Crash and Performance Data (Firebase Crashlytics) What it is: Error logs, device model, operating system version, and app state at the time of a crash. Example: „Error: NullPointerException, Device: iPhone 14, OS: iOS 16.5“ Usage: Used exclusively to identify software bugs and improve app stability.
FCM Token (Firebase Cloud Messaging) What it is: Unique, device-specific character string. Example: „eXk123abc:APA91bH…“ Usage: Generated and stored to send you push notifications (e.g., daily reading reminders), provided you have granted permission in your operating system settings (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
4. Authentication Data (Firebase Authentication)
To secure and assign your data across devices, we use Firebase Authentication.
User ID (UID) / Account Data What it is: A unique alphanumeric identifier linked to your app installation or your Apple/Google login. Example: „uid_8f7d6s9a8f7d6s“ (or „max.mustermann@gmail.com“ if using social sign-in). Usage: Ensures the secure linkage of your profile and chat history to your specific device or account.
5. Billing & Financial Data (RevenueCat)
We do not process direct payment information (such as credit card details). Payments are handled entirely by the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
Subscription Status (RevenueCat) What it is: An anonymous App User ID and digital purchase receipts. Example: „$RCAnonymousID:5d4c3b2a1“ and „Premium+ active until 01.06.2026“ Usage: Used to verify your Premium status and unlock the corresponding features within the App.
6. Data Sharing with Third Parties (Data Processors)
To operate the App, we use external service providers with whom we have concluded Data Processing Agreements (DPA) in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR:
a) Google Cloud & Firebase (Hosting & Database) Your profile and astrology data, chat histories, and generated readings are securely stored in Firestore databases (Google Cloud). The backend logic (Cloud Functions) is also hosted here. Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
b) External AI Processing (OpenAI / Google Vertex AI – Gemini) Important note regarding AI usage: Our App utilizes advanced Artificial Intelligence (Large Language Models) to generate readings and power the chat feature. When you use the App, your birth data (Date, Time, Location coordinates) and any text inputs you enter into the chat interface are securely transmitted via our Cloud Functions to external AI providers (OpenAI or Google). This data transfer is required to generate customized astrological texts for you (Performance of a Contract). The providers use this data strictly to process your specific request under our API agreements and do not use it to train their public models.
c) In-App Purchases (RevenueCat) Anonymized IDs and purchase receipts are transmitted to RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. Provider: RevenueCat, Inc., 1032 E Brandon Blvd #3003, Brandon, FL 33511, USA.
7. Your Rights as a Data Subject
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights at any time:
- Right of Access (Art. 15 GDPR): You can request confirmation as to whether and what personal data we process about you.
- Right to Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR): You can request the correction of inaccurate data.
- Right to Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR): You can request the deletion of your data (e.g., by utilizing the account deletion feature directly within the App).
- Right to Withdraw Consent (Art. 7(3) GDPR): If processing is based on your consent (e.g., push notifications), you can withdraw this consent at any time in your device settings.

8. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy to ensure it always complies with current legal requirements or to reflect changes in our services (e.g., the integration of new AI models). The new Privacy Policy will apply to your next visit. Insofar as changes affect the data use based on the user’s consent, we will – if necessary – obtain a new consent.
